Despite its compact size, this cast iron stove is packed full of features to help improve the performance, and operation of the wood stove. With a 1.5 cubic foot firebox, you can fit logs up to 17" in length in this stove made of cast iron's spacious firebox. A single lever air-intake control makes managing the fire a simple process. A non-catalytic combustion system ensures that this wood stove burns cleanly, and efficiently by producing less creosote, and by producing more heat from less wood. With the top or rear flue collar, you can choose whether the cast iron Hearthstone wood stove is a freestanding stove, or a hearth unit. When air enters the firebox through secondary tubes, it ignites the gases rising off of the burning wood, resulting in an amazing display of fire.
