Heartland Oval Woodburning Cookstove Model 1902
Holds its Own Power
With a Heartland Woodburning Cookstove, you can keep your home glowing through ice and snow and power failures. The Oval is capable of heating up to 1800 square feet. No matter what is happening outside, you can still enjoy everything from a steamy bath to a hot cup of cocoa to a snug night's sleep. (With optional water jacket.)

Keeps You in Hot Water
Choose an optional copper reservoir with a tap or install a hot water jacket. The installed water jacket can heat a 40-gallon water tank in an hour with the stove running at full operation. Many owners choose to run this system on a thermosyphon, eliminating the need for electricity. Wood heat can be very dry but the water reservoir provides ample humidity. Use it to do all the dishes. Note: Refer to water jacket manual and have it installed by a professional.

Unforgettable Flavor
Find out firsthand why your grandmother always said that nothing matched a pie baked in the cookstove. The oven is heated from all sides, cooking the food evenly and to perfection every time. Thaw your frozen food, warm your plates or watch your dough rise in the warming closet.

Lighten Your Workload
You're intrigued with the idea of owning a Heartland Woodburning Cookstove but feeling like it might be too labor intensive to maintain. Think again. Fuel can be top or front loading, the oven interior is porcelain coated with an ash pan that slides out for cleaning. This is the good old days - only better.

All components have a 1 year warranty in parts and labor with the exception of firebox parts, gaskets and over firing. Defects in paint or porcelain enamel finish or plated surface have a 90 day warranty in parts and labor. The Heartland Oval is exempt from EPA regulations and is legal for sale in most of the USA. However, it is not legal for sale in Washington state.

5 of 5 Heartland Findlay Oval Cook stove December 14, 2013
Reviewer: Dennis from Calgary, Alberta Canada
In 1940  my father bought a Renfrew Cook Rite cook stove from his Aunt.  We used this stove until 1960.  It was the only heat source for our house.  In 2000 I wanted a stove like my Moms so I purchased a Heartland Oval Cook Stove and am still using it today.   I have an 1800 sq ft modern home.   I heat the whole house with this stove in our sometimes very cold climate in Alberta Canada.   I cook on the stove every day and have found it to be a good baker, efficient and well made stove just like the old Renfrew Cook Rite.   I think it is the best stove made.   The only change I made is to raise the coal/wood grate to the summer level.  The firebox was just too big and produced too much heat for the size of our house.   We burn coal and find it meeting our everyday needs.
