I have been heating with this fireplace for two seasons.  I have had failures of the blower fans each season.  They were covered under warranty and customer service was great, however, it is not easy to replace the fans.  You also need to take the fans out to clean off the dust that gets sucked in an all over the fan.  Thought I would get a longer overnight burn time according to the advertised burn time but it is usually out by morning.

The unit looks nice and does a decent job of maintaining our very well-insulated 3000 sq ft home at 65 degrees with continuous feeding of the stove when outside air temp is 25-30.  The double doors constantly require adjustment because the screws attaching it to hinges are too short.  The blower fan (200 cfm version) is pretty weak and a disappointment.  It lasted 1 1/2 burning seasons and was replaced just before the 2-year warranty expired.  If this one goes it will be ~$500 for parts and labor to replace.  It just sits under the firebox and sucks any loose ash or dust into its moveable parts--poor design.  The make-up air "booster" is 100% ineffective and does not provide enough room air to make any perceptible difference.  To start the stove, you just have to leave one of the doors ajar until the flame creates a good upward draft after 5-10 minutes, then shut the doors.  Needs more robust hinge system and stronger fan with sealed bearings.
